While there is no set time limit for residency at Sarah’s House, each resident will work with the Sarah’s House Board in developing specific goals and objectives for their time here including target dates of completion. Each plan will have a different expected completion date. Residents will be able to stay in Sarah’s House as long as they are continuing to work towards their plan as agreed upon by both the resident and the Board.

Each resident is required to review her personal development plan weekly with the house mom to ensure they are working towards the agreed upon goals and are being provided assistance to help overcome any obstacles to meeting those goals. This personal development plan may include, but is not limited to, obtaining a GED, budgeting, attending college courses, and developing trade skills. In addition to the personal development plan, residents are required to purchase and cook meals for themselves and their children as well as perform weekly household chores to ensure the cleanliness of Sarah’s House.

No. Each resident with work with the Board to develop a personal development plan based on her specific goals and objectives whle residing in Sarah’s House.

Residents will be provided a fully furnished bedroom they will share with their child. They will be provided all bedding and towels. Diapers and wipes will be provided by the Pregnancy and Life Center. Free childcare will be provided for all children living in the home by Hill Country Fellowship Christian Academy (HCFCA), located inside Hill Country Fellowship.

Residents will be required to purchase their own food for themselves and their children. All cell phone bills and transportation will be the responsibility of the resident. Sarah’s House is not responsible for any medical costs for the mother or child while residing in the home.
